The Great Lewis Run Tax Revolt of 2011

On November 26, 2011, Wesley Snipes led his pod of minimum-security tax evaders at FCI McKean on a two-day uprising that ultimately led to the death of Boris Carradine and prison friend “Prince” Ted Naylor. Snipes’ involvement in the revolt didn’t affect his parole board’s decision to release the actor after serving only six years of the first of his eight concurrent life sentences for tax evasion. Survivors of the revolt credit Snipes’ survival to his advanced parkour skills, his facility with Pig Latin, and his Egyptian rod. According to many who knew him on the inside, Snipes’ martial arts skills at the time were rudimentary.
